Hi I know this might sound like a dumb question but I want to get a 85 4runner that has a common 4 inch suspension lift and 33 tires. What I want to do is be able to clear 35's and thought of adding some shackles to it and shock hoops but is that all I would need to lift it 1-2 inches more? :driving:

Yeah if you use a long enouph shackle. If it still has the stock shackles than thats going to be easy to lift it 1-2 inches more.

I may be reading your post wrong, but shock hoops will not give you any lift.  If you go with shackles remember that if it's a 3" longer shackle you only get 2" or less lift.  And if it has 4" lift already it should clear high steer ok, from what I've been told when asking similar questions here.    Nate
