No power steering

I am about to go from one tcase to a duel ultimate. One thing just occured to me...I do not have power steering. In normal 2.28 with 3.90 gears I can manage steering just fine, however I have yet to even air down. Anyone have any idea if steering is possible with a crawl ratio od 220.1 and zero steering assist?

Yes.  But it will take a few trips to build up your arms to the point that it steers easy.  My 84 never had power steering on it and at one point in time I was running 39.5 tsl's  It really wasnt too bad at all.  Ya just have to bulk up.

cool, I have been driving around for about a year without it, i like the simplicity. My friends and the occasional (really occasional) dates laugh at me cranking the wheel> I just remind them of how the 300 I paid for the truck is less than there car payment.

good luck      buy a pump and box why dont u...i mean they dont cost that much,,,,,:pokinit:,,, ill sell u mine if u need them ,,    i have extras power stearing box's and pumps... pm  if u want them
