about 8 years ago i bought a 79 parts truck with one of those cb's in it and its been hanging out in the garage since. i hooked power to it and it turned on but not sure if it works to talk on. How much does it usually cost to have them tested?

I always just hook mine up and do the regular "radio check" with the passing truckers
