They all suck and charge too much, order on from high angle driveline in california.

i have read a lot about high angle but i dont have 500 for one. was looking to have mine retubed and a long slip put in. plus i will have to have it lengthened when i put in duals later so not looking to have a totally bling shaft made just yet. was thinking square but dont want to ruin a good cv to make a square shaft just to get me by.

anyways you kept your dad's 4runner didnt you? hows that coming along?

My front driveline was way cheaper than $500. If you have a shop do it just make sure they use all the factory toy stuff. I kept the 4runner for a streetable family rig. Its a roller but i havent had time to work on it in a month. i plan to sell it when its done though.

will do maybe i will give them a call a see what they quote me for one. well i sold my 4.7's tonight to come up with the money for a dual crossmember and driveline work. just gonna run stock duals.

your gonna sell it when your done, why not just sell it now then?

I stand to get more out of it if its turnkey instead of a project. i already have 98% of the parts so its really just labor.

dntsdad

I had Dave from DAvez off Road do mine and he is a first class guy and great work. All done through UPS since I am not local to him. He will send a call tag for your parts (cv's, joints) to save you money too.

Give him a call

thanks dntsdad i'll have to check on daves stuff. i was planning on ordering a long slip from a vendor and doing it locally but if daves works with your exciting shaft that will save money rather than having a whole new one sent to me.

Check out a truck (semi) drivetrain shop. I have used a place in Tucson called Truck and Trailer Parts. They built a few drive shafts for me and retubed several WAY cheaper than any 4x4 shop ever quoted me. Never had a problem with any of them.

Some were built from scratch and others were built with parts I brought. I don't know if they are still around, it's been a few years since I've been in there. Just thought I'd mention it. Should be some places in Phoenix like it.

You might want to give Steve at Phoenix Rack and Axle a call.
He bought Dicks Driveshaft out 2 years ago. They are well
spoken of on other forums.

The machine shop in chino valley can make whatever you need. A few years back I think I spent ~$300 for a rear cv shaft for a jeep.
