To think of what he's experienced in his 110 years!  I love documentaries on wars and always enjoy when somebody who was actually in the war gets to tell their story.  RIP!

Nothing would benefit him directly, but you'd think the last American survivor of any war, let alone one fought nearly 100 years ago would at least earn some recognition. Not that he needs it.
