Picked it up a few weeks ago, actually about a weekish before I joined this great site.  Its an 83 shortbed, 22r with a weber (which needs tuned), stock 5spd/tcase.  Previous owner swapped in a 87 runner wider rear axle and she has 5.29's with open diff's (for now  :gap: ).  I believe it has a 4" all spring suspension lift and 3" body lift.  Gonna take out the 3" body lift and replace it with a 1" aluminum body lift.  She's far from pretty looking but actually pretty decent for the age.  Now on to some pics

This is how she looked in the craigslist ad and when I brought it home.

Apparently someone thought it would be good to cut holes in the kick panels and mount speakers.  All fine and dandy but if you are going to remove them and patch them up, don't just bugger weld some panels over the top and not fully weld it back together...

And here is the ever so nicely done dash....it had a mangled/broke stock on it it.  I need to figure out something to replace it with and replace the busted heater controls

Gonna take out the 3" body lift and replace it with a 1" body lift that I made on the lathe out of some aluminum and polished

  go ahead and use 1/2 inch grade 5 bolts with nylon nuts. OH and get new body mounts if they werent replaced when the body lift was put in.

my body lift came with 1/2 inch bolts but every other one ive seen has had 3/8 inch bolts which is pretty scary if you ask me :ack:

Yeah I drilled them out for a 1/2" grade 5 bolt.  New body bushings are on my list of stuff to buy.  Just need to find a place to buy them.
