When i made my flatbed i got a deal on the price.  I got 20 feet of 2x4x.120 wall for about $80.  And another piece of 2x3x.250 wall 4 feet for $20.  I also used a few pieces of 2x2 and 1x1 put i got those pieces for free.

I used diamond plate for the floor of mine.  I got it for free from my dads work.  I got a quote from the metal shop by me.  It was like $120 for 1 sheet of diamond plate.  A little steep.  Steel mesh would work just as good and might cost less.
