Ya theres a few tacos with fj80s under them, if you can find them its a good route to go.

Yea gut rebuilt everything inside besides hubs. So i figure hubs and FJ axles can get it all together for under a grand

 First snow of the year, had to go out and play around. I wish this thing had an axle and 35's but tacos are pricey to build :o

FJ80 over any of the others. Or Diamond with a cruiser 9.5 in the front with fj80 knuckles.

I can't believe snow runs are right around the corner hahaha We had a few inches of snow here at lake level in South Lake but it melted pretty quick. I hear Kirkwood got 15" of snow. Crazy!

Felt like summer was just getting started. That picture was in the eagle lakes area, and I couldn't believe how much snow was on donner summit.

I've been trying to locate some fj80's since the day I made this thread.  Diamond would be perfect but I don't have the cash for that. I've been looking into the dana 44 route, but sounds like the inner c's need to be cut and turned and chevy knuckles need to be swapped on :dunno:
