Is there really a difference in engines between a 85 22re and a 94 pickup with a 22re. What differences are there? Is one better then other? :headscratch:  :psss:
Everyone starts off in life crawling but lots of us grow up and still are crawling around everywhere

the long blocks are the same, i think in '92 or so they changed the design of the intake manifold.

wiring changed periodically though.

There is a major differance :_order:

The '85 uses an resisitor for the 9 volt style injectors, an angled throttle body, and a slower, one oxygen sensor computer.

The '89-'95 trucks use two 02 sensors, 14 style volt injectors, straight throttle body with a redesigned air intake, and a faster computer.
