STRAPON

:driving:  I'm new to this kind of stuff but I thought I would try it out.  I bought an '85 EFI short bed standard cab about 1.5 year ago and plan on doing some major upgrades.  Since I use to be more into muscle cars the first thing I did was remove the low power 4 banger and installed a 5.0 HO with AOD.  Used the AA adapter and the stock Tcase.  I'm running 4.10's with 33" mud terrains.  So far I like it a lot better.  I'm getting around 16.5 mpg.  Already had a 3" body lift which I really needed for the room.  After I was done I did a 3" suspension lift with Skyjacker springs.  They seem to hold up well with the extra weight.  I also did the cross-over high steer.

Anyway I live north of Battleground.  Haven't done that much wheelin though.  I think I'm going up to Browns Camp soon.  Anyone close by that nows some good areas let me know.
