Tube Bend Software
« on: Feb 10, 2011, 04:40:10 PM »
Any one have TubeBend.zip, that you could pass on to me.  JD2 does not offer the software anymore.  I searched around for free software, and came up with only calculators.  Google brings up tubebend.zip at the JD2 site, but the page no longer exists.  I like free.

Thanks in advance.

If you get a few extra $$ Bend-tech is a really nice program http://bend-tech.com/bt_pro.htm  My brother has an early version and it is great.

Bend-Tech
Ok, so I have been fooling around with the software, and got it down to almost 0 loss, do to incorrect bending  (on first try, and scaled down considerably) ).  The problem is, that I don't have material lying around that will finish my cage.  Any Bend-Tech peeps around using a JD-2 Model 32 bender or like it ?  I would like to get some calibration info on 1.75 tube.  I know it won't be accurate but it would be damn close.  This way I can order the right amount.  If you do that would be great.

Or, do you think I should just buy a stick for every possible combination, for every die.  (and also LOT # or HEAT # of steel will be different every time.)  :smack:
