from 2 wheel to 4wheel drive

 :usa: hey yall i have an oportunity to pick up a 85 2 wheel drive toyota p/u for 300.00$ i need to know (and fast) what is entaled in the  2 wheel to 4 wheel conversion.  i have an 83 that has been rolled and thrased, and i want to change everything over asap  PLEASE HELP ASAP this truck wont last long...............

Get it!  the conversion isnt that hard at all, I converted my 90 2x into a 4x its really not that hard.  And there is less to cut off of the frame on a 2x then on a 4x.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

It takes some work, time, and money, but not impossible.  However, if the frame and running gear is fine from your '83(if it is a 4x4), I would just swap the cabs, should be less intensive work, than converting from 2-4 wheel drive.
