the bobbed bed build up

This is my 1993 Toyota me and my friend jeff aka "NUB" on this forum decided to take the saw sawzall to the bed of my truck. And here is how we did it....

fiirst we taped it up on both sides to get a clean cut

Than we cut it off

Than we put the rear piece back on and re-welded it on to the bed

Than a little tlc and bondo and some sanding it came out like this

And the finished product with just some primer and some rattle can just so it wouldnt look to bad

And o yeah we had to cut down the roll bar. Im just going to cut it down and re-weld it to the wheel wells.

That looks Awesome Man!!! :thumbs: Great Job. I have been thinking about doing that to my 91 extended cab, and I'm glad I can see pretty much what it will look like if I decide to do it.  Awesome Job :thumbs:

nice job I've got a 90 ex. cab thats going to get a bob job and it gives me some ideas. how long did it take you to finish it.  also did you get any warping with the welding of the body and how much did you cut out

Thank you... And we took out 15 inches and it took about 3 hrs
I would Take my truck offroad but then it would get dirty
