i'm a complete convert and newb to toyota.  I've wheeled strickly jeeps for the last 6-7 yrs.  Currently my finished rig is a back halved cj7 on tons and 39.5 rockers and front and rear 4 llink.  The reason i converted is i decided i wanted a buggy crawler as light as possible with 2 seats.  so my parts gathering has already begun.  i'v got 2 front mini truck axles for for 4 wheel steer.they'll get welded and 5.29s.  last weekend i went and picked up my '87 22re with complete harness for a steal.  I've got a couple of extras to get rid of but now i'm lookin for tranny and t cases for doubler.  My biggest goal is to be between 2200-2400 lbs on 37's.

I wanted to make sure i liked the design for the chassis i had in my so i built an exact 1/18th scale model from 3/16" stainless rod.  i'd post pics but i can't yet.

Well if things go my way my wife will let me spend a fair amount of money on this site because i want at least a 300:1 crawl ratio.

i guess that's about it and i have alot of questions coming very soon

The plan is 2.8(5sp) 4.7/4.7(doubler) 5.29(axles)=327.19708

OR

2.8/2.9/4.7/5.29=194.92592 I guess it'll work
I'll be happy either way
My feelings on this matter are go big or go home. I was looking to put sm465 in front of duel 4.7s, but I called the only place that makes that adapter and they're out of stock and they don't know if they'll make anymore. They said to call back in a month

6.1/4.7/4.7/5.29=712.82221 crawl ratio. Does anyone think it's a bit much? Lol.

That's even better 3.95/4.7/4.7/5.29=461.581595
Thank you on the correction

On the serious side is this to much for cro-mo or 30 spline longs?  Remember I only have a 22re.  And built only for rocks aNd trails to get to more rocks
