toyotas in afghanistan
« on: Jan 18, 2011, 09:26:53 AM »
I'm out in Afghanistan right now and I get to drive a cool little diesel hilux 4x4. I wish I could take this thing home with me! Its an older truck not sure what year, looks very similar to my 92 pick-up but it has 4 doors. Why didn't they sell these in the US?!

diesel still has a 'dirty, smelly polluting' stereotype here in the states, thats one of the big reasons why.

Good luck shipping it to the US. Im having a hard time just getting a used diesel motor from put of the country. They have really cracked down on this stuff

where you at cause I'm here too lol. yea i haven't driven it but theres a sweet new hilux i have been seeing around that's decked out. everything from bumpers roll bars lift with Fox shocks running on (looks likes 33's) plus I'm pretty sure it had a camera mounted on the front of it. I def did a double take when i saw it
