why does moving the pin foward help? couldnt u just turn factory springs around?

You don't move the center pin, ussually you move the spring mount.  If you turned the spring around then the center pin would be moved back not forward.

sky has an inexpensive kit to move the front axle forward slightly, which will help to keep your tires out of your firewall if you don't have enough lift and you've trimmed the front of the fenders,   Nate

I think some companies make plates that can move the axle forward.  They have a hole for the center pin.  Anyone know what i am talking about?

Did you read the post before your Hyena??  Kneedownnate said that Sky makes them.  They will allow you to move your axle forward or back 3/4" or 1" if I remember right.
