Are all '81-'84 toyota 22R carburetors the same? or did they vary from year to year?

They changed over the years due to new smog regulations, so no there are differences.

thx man, So i Do need an 81 specifically, do you think theres a difference in CA vs federal carbs of the same year?

Ive swapped every year basically they have, onto every dif year engine, pretty much every combo possible, and I always passed smog. If that tells you anything?
