W/a bench seat you might check out this set-up http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=916481, the 3 shifters are located on the front case, w/levers that operate the 4H and 4L functions of the second case.

I modified the front shifter, so it could be located next to the rear case case shifter, for a little cleaner look.

The shifter only has to move forward and back, not to the right and as well, so I don't know how that extension would effect the amount of space the shifter would have to move to engage 4L, 4H wouldn't be a problem.  A short through shifter kit on the second case might reduce the movement enough to not have the shifter end up in a position that gets in the way.

Nice integra seats.

The seats are from a '94 Supra, with the exception of raising the rear mounts 1.5"(to match the oem slope of the truck seats), they bolt right in.

You should have seen it when I drug it home.  Before I got it, it had spent the last 12yrs of its life as a winery truck, and it looked like the PO hauled more garbage, manure, and dirt inside the cab then the bed.  It took a good 12 hours of cleaning to get the smell out, fortunately everything but the seats were re-usable.
