1st gen toyota lift

put rancho 3 1/2" lift on the other day and 33x12.5 springs all the way around,3"drop drag link(adjustable) and extended brake lines. still has stock push pull steering now its hard to steer thinking its just cause of the tires. steering wheel is turned 1/4 turn to the right from normal and steering wheel shakes around 35 mph and goes away at 40 if i accelerate fast does not vib. person i bought it from said its prob tire pressure when he bought it had the same problem and aired the tires to recommended pressure and it went away have not done that yet. im thinking that the drag link needs to be adjusted its lifted maybe 2" from where it was before a lot softer of a ride. Or the torque rod on the front axle might be the issue too but it has not changed that angle more then 2".     i need to figure out how to resize pictures on an imac and ill post pics. took it out mudding after the lift did great even with low tread tires that were put on it. got to get pictures too just have some of the truck right now

If you're using the stock drag link, that's an issue.  In addition, check your toe-in...common cause of death wobble.  Are all the wheels properly balanced?  TRE's in good condition?  Just a few basic things to check.  .02

got a adj drag link greased it tonight and aired the tires up most of the shake went away

gonna check it today do you anything about shackles id like to get the suspenion about 2" higher

The adjustable draglink may have fixed this for you but here's a little tip on push pull steering. Since you said that the steering wheel was not straight when you upgraded you may be off of center on the box. If you are off you will one not have the same left to right steering by up to a 1/2 turn on the steering, what that means is not only will you be able to steer harder one side over the other but yes the box is not in the neutral position. This is very important to the stability of the steering. You will be in the power mode for the box and it will always try to turn. The fix is to drive your truck forward straight ahead into a wall.... no seriously make sure your wheels are perfectly straight then pull the tie rod with the ends, turn your steering wheel straight and reinstall the tie rod without turning the tires. Adjust the ends as needed to complete the install. You will also need to check that there is no more than 1/8 difference on the tires front to rear (rear being wider) /--o-\ from the center of the axle on both the front and rear of the tires. Doing this can also eliminate some woble.

ive got some play in the steering box id like to upgrade to power steering but got to find one. no play in tie rods or grag link just in the box itself
