I went for a retro style built double tube but built it with modern light weight and ridgidity and a place for a winch plate.  I just think first gens should look old school...

I built mine. the main tube was bent with a HF bender.....and made the bottom a few years later when I bought my protool bender.

It ties into the front rad support mounts and Winch plate with bolts. It will come off and the winch stays in place.

I removed the stinger for a bold simple look.

prior to mounting my bumper. but what it looks like not installed. I felt the winch would be permanent and can always make a new bumper should I change my mind or misshap.

The blinkers were also installed as I like to drive mine on the street when I can.
Approach angle isn't to bad.

That's what I was after. I put spacers (1") between the rad. and support to push it back into the engine. It's pretty close to sticking out as far as the stock bumper.

here is when I was building it. Side shot.
