:) Newbie from Florida here. I'm well under way on my rig build which will hopefully soon be an '89 runner that has been SAS by me. When I get her done I'll post some pics.

Thanks everyone for the invite. I'm not too good with all the computer stuff, so I'll just keep on posting in order to use the attachment feature. Just to let everyone know, I had a '69 fastback mustang that I sold back in March 2003 that most people (all right everyone) would not want to get rid of. I restored and modified that car which was my first experience with auto modification/restoration. My wife and I drove that car on the Daytona speedway under the checker flag during the year of I believe either 1997 or 1998 for the "Speedway Spectacular". The "Speedway Spectacular" is held there every year in March and it's a big car show/swap meet. Like I said, my wife and I were fortunate enough to have the car done in time for the last year they would allow cars on the speedway driving for pictures under the checkered flag. My wife and I also took that car to Charlotte Motor Speedway in 1999 for the 35th anniversary of the Mustang. My wife and I drove that car around the speedway there door handle to door handle at speeds of 60 to 65 miles an hour with classic Mustangs. We only had to pay five dollars to get on the track and we went around that track about 5 to 6 times. What an awesome experience! I thought there would be a pace car out there or something holding back the reins of those classic Mustangs but it was just pay your five dollars and go have fun! Even though I had a classic Mustang that I put all that blood, sweat, cash and tears into, I still got rid of her. My wife and kids wanted a pool in the back yard. Got the pool to satisfy the family and dad wanted his first love again ie. first generation 4runner. So, I went to NC about 4 years ago and picked up my '89 runner from a guy up there and drug her back to Florida on a trailer. I've been driving her and working on her ever since. It's weird that I don't miss my Mustang :headscratch:, but I would never let my 4runner go. When I'm able to post pics I'll show you my Mustang and my runner.

Thanks everyone for the invite. I'm still trying to get up to the eleven posts to show ya my project. Photobucket is not working with my camera for some reason. Again, not very good with computer stuff :headscratch:

If anyone needs something from Central Florida, just let me know and I'll see what I can do for ya 8)

blrunner

Just to let ya know as well, I have a rotated '84 axle (which was rotated 9.5degrees) and I have a open 4.10 third member out of that axle which has been taken apart. The caps were marked so that you know which one goes where on the third. Asking $200.00 for the housing and disassembled third.

I used to live in Apopka...I live in Ten Mile Tn. now....do miss the mud some and my friends at Chucks and 8 seconds....But I don't miss the traffic and the crowds down there..
Happy Wheeling and Merry Christmas

blrunner

Yep, Apopka is about 20miles from where I live in Leesburg. One day (if I'm financially able to) I would like to buy some property and retire up there in them hills. Beautiful country up there in TN, KY,NC etc.

Damn, cannot figure out how to compress the pic small enough to attach. :smack:

4RunnerChevy

Open it in paint, you can skew it to whatever size you want, then save it and upload it.  Once you open it in paint, go to the top under the image tab, then click skew/stretch.  Once your there just put 25% in the skew fields.
