New motor mounts 22re?
« on: Dec 07, 2010, 01:54:01 AM »
I'm looking for new motor mounts that weld on the frame part of the truck. Some one cut mine up pretty good when they did the sas on it. I'm fixing it now and I'd like it to be done right. I been lookin around but no luck. Here is a picture of my cut mount to get the idea of what I'm talking about finding.

Thanks for any help, or leads.

Nothin showed up for them. I'm not talkin about the part that bolts to the motor. I'm talkin about the part that welds up on the frame.

i see it completly cut the piece off that looks like crap and take plate thats the size of the opening and weld it to the existing mount it will be boxed in and sturdy as all hell...easier than jacking motor up cutting entire mount off and re aligning new mounts and welding...and your still gonna have the opening at the top if its an ifs mount

For about 10-15 dollars worth of plate and some time you can fix them up real easy.

fade you can fix those no problem, ill get pic of what these guys are talking about. I dont do it that way, I just remove the 1 in by like 7 inch piece from it, and slap a piece of steel in there, it all stays when I do it, but it can be just as storng, if not moreso, if you just box that one up.
