motor mounts.
« on: Sep 30, 2005, 10:34:59 AM »
I had a motor mount that was on its last leg if not already broke before the round up, no it is pretty much gone.  SHould I just replace it with a stock mount or go after market?  I have dual cases behind a 20/22r hybrid.  I do a fair amount of street driving so I want soming that is not going to vibrate on me.  WHats the general opinion...

stock mount with a fail safe ie: chain, bolt etc.
You win some, you lose some.

stock motor mount with 3 links of chain.  weld one end to the motor mount top plate, the other end to the frame.  Stops it from pulling apart too far.
