I have an 87 4runner with 145,000 miles.  It's a 22re 5spd sr5 with manual windows and locks and no sunroof.
I bought the truck with no mods other than a trailer hitch from the second owner.
Everything is stock or untouched and in working order unless stated below.

Aftermarket Items and/or replacement parts:
OME shocks on all 4 corners
OME rear lears
2" aluminum ball joint spacers (forget the brand)
Black rock crawler wheels with 33" bfg M/T tires
MC rear bumper powder coated black
3 year old black paint, originally gray
LCE header and full exhaust less cat (but i do have an extra one that goes with the truck)
I have none of the stock counterparts other than the exhaust

Parts replaced:
radiator
clutch fan replaced with flexfan
distributor cap, plugs, plug wires, and coil.  (all accel)
fuel, air filters (k&n)
Ipod stereo, alpine i think, nothing special, with 2 aftermarket 6x9s (speakers mounted in remote boxes.  Not in the side panels)
the clutch was replaced by the previous owner at around 90k I think... I should still have the paperwork

The bad/not working things:
cruise control might not be working (haven't tried though)
the cigarette lighter doesn't work although the outlet does ???
The rear defroster never worked since I've had it.
The clutch slave cylinder needs to be topped off once a year can't see it leaking anywhere and haven't thought to fix
barely passed smog last time around but i have a cat converter that will go with it.  No CEL's though, me and my mechanic just thought it could use a cat because of the sniffer results.

Overall
Normal scratches and dings of a 20+ year old car nothing bad at all
No rips on the interior or cracks on the dash
It's a really nice 1st gen 4runner daily driver, and can tackle most 4x4 trails

Everything else is in good working order...  I'm sure there may be something I've forgotten so I'll try and update if i remember anything, or to add more pics

Sorry to burst your bubble, but its not a sr5 if there is no sunroof or power windows/door locks. Maybe in its condition its worth about 2200-2500. 3900 is what solid axle trucks are going for.

LOL... Yes it's an SR5 not sure where you came up with that but sunroof, power windows/door locks, were options in 87.  Please somehow correct me if i'm wrong  :beerchug:

I'd say its worth $2800-3000.  Maybe $3200 if you found the right buyers.  Buitl SAS rigs locked with duals are going for $5000.  Everyone lost their jobs and so they're selling their toys left and right.

I had a really nice guy and his buddy come up today and offer 3k.  I just couldn't do it being that its only been up for less than a  week and i have only put it on one forum.   I'm gonna through it on craigslist but maybe your right, we'll see...  :beerchug:

For the record, its def an SR5.  SR5 clues are the chrome grill, chrome bumpers, trim, tach cluster and...the stock SR5 badge on the back :hammer:.  options on top of that were rear defrost, sunroof, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise, etc.

 Finally a guy that knows his stuff.  I was a little disconcerted with my thread when the first three post where less than intelligent.
thanks for helpin me out  :)

Uhh.. Im intelligent. F you if you think not, I was just asking you to prove it was a SR5. It did not look like it. Thats like me taking a plane jane neon, putting a srt4 bumper and hood and wing and calling it a srt4. Weird huh?

apologies... It's not what you posted, but the fact that you did post what you posted, that i find anserine.  If you were just "asking me to prove it was an SR5" you wouldn't have presumed to "burst my bubble" with your ambiguity.  but  :beerchug: for the bump

What is it with people telling you what to ask for the 4Runner?  Last I looked, we are in America where Capitalism is king.

Somewhere there's a bridge with a nice, dark, dank spot underneath where you can sit murmering while waiting for people to pass...

everything?...down to chrome door handles, chrome around the taillights and wheel wells, chrome at the rocker, etc?  Does it have a cluster with a tach, oil pressure gauge, etc.?  It's possible someone swapped some of it on.  Its also possible that the original owner that bought it off the lot wanted an sR5, but didn't like the chrome and they swapped it out for them??  Who knows???

Something that has always puzzled me on my 87 4runner SR5 is that I have black door handles, but chrome everything else.  :headscratch: I just assumed the PO(s) swapped them for some reason.
