shocks with no dust caps. Problem?

Got some new 12" travel bilsteins today but they dont have a dust cap like my old 14" do. Anyone ever had this problem. I am just going to run them with the shock boot.
The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your arm.

id keep the boot off.. they just make it so the mud and water and stuff sit in your shock even easier

Shock boots do more harm then good by trapping dirt, grit, rocks, etc and holding them inside. Better off with out them, so no worries.

well thanks for the addvice on that. I normally dont run them but the shocks dont have caps on the end like my old bilstein 5125's do. I am lookin online and it looks like some do some

see it doesnt have a cap like my old ones do. I guess some just dont come with them
