^ Wow that is awesome footage. I know birds are extremely agile, but it would be interesting to watch a highly experienced quadcopter pilot try to repeatedly dodge a hawk! :_order:

I've seen videos of stunt R/C helicopters and how quickly they change direction -- I think faster than large birds like a hawk -- but it'd probably also badly injure a bird in an aerial attack. But the blades on a quad are much smaller/safer for some hawk-to-r/c air combat :circle:

I wonder if hawks can see the blades and not just a blur.....

My micro-quad has been investigated by hummingbirds, which I think can see that fast.

Further proof motorbikers are great people!  Wish I'd had one of these when I pulled over on the bike to push a girl's van out of the road on an off-ramp.  The look on her face when I offered to do so was priceless!
