20r opinions?

what are yalls opinions on the 20r's  i have a chance to buy a 1979 toyota 4x4 straight body and very clean interior for these alabama rednecks i live around. it doesnt run the guy says its  been sitting for a about 3 years but he only wants 400 bucks. is the 20r capable of pulling 36s with 5.29s or should i find a 22r and swap them out?

yep it will to me the 20 r has more lowend grunt but less power than the 22r i run a 20 with 571 42 iroks
