Anyone driving from the LA area north through or near Fresno soon?

Hey guys,

I have a car transaxle that I need picked up from Southwest Foreign Auto Parts in Pacoima (click for map). They want nearly $200 to ship it to Fresno --- good grief! :conf: It is a Corolla 6-speed transaxle that I need for my MR2. It should only weigh about 60 lbs.

So I am wondering if anyone is heading up north from the LA area and is willing to stop by this place to pick it up on their way up. If I can find someone who is already planning on going to Bakersfield/Tulare/Visalia/Kettleman City/Lemoore/Fresno/etc, whatever, I will meet you somewhere within like a 50 mile radius of Fresno and pick it up. I know it only costs about $50 to ship this if I had to pay for it, so I am willing to pay someone $50 for their assistance (saves me $$ and more than pays for your time/gas if you already have plans to head up this way anyhow)

Please let me know ASAP. Thanks in advance for someone's help!

You're a few hours too late Mike. I have a buddy heading up to Fresno right now.
