need some input. I have a 94 yota truck 4x4 extra cab, 22re engine.  Thinkin about moving bat. Box to the drivers side. I have read that I would get a better air flow by puttin my airbox closer to my intake. Does it make that much of a difference, or would it be a waste of time. Runs fine now. But if it makes a difference in performance or gas milage, I'll do it. Looks like it would take some heat out of the air line from runnin over the radiator. What's yalls take?

Im moving my battery... but that is due to my 3.4L swap. I am thinking possibly to the trunk to free up even more space under the hood. Not sure if it would run any cooler but that much less crap under the hood.

Rallequip

It wouldn't make a noticeable difference. Even replacing it with a "cold air intake" really only nets you about 5hp at best, and that's only because it frees up the constrictions of a factory air box.

Not worth it, unless you are going 3RZ or 5VZ.  My $.02

KDXSR5

I moved my battery to the bed intending to setup dual batteries a couple years ago. I then used a silicone 90* elbow to go to the airbox after switching it sides. IMO, it is pretty pointless. I also planned on building a snorkel for it on the passenger side, but that never happened. All in all, it is just not worth it unless you simply want to clean up the engine bay. Wade through my build thread for pics and such, just search KDXSR5.
