Topic: gas gage kinda works

gas gage works till about half a tank but then it doesnt work at all after that? help!!

sender in the tank. Both my Toyotas have the same problem, just a little different.

my truck will just read low. if I fill it up, it reads 3/4 and goes down like normal. My 4runner reads full when its full but drops really fast and I can go a long ways on E.

yep sender in the tank,
 if it didnt read at all, could have ben a wiring problem, or bad sender, or gage .
but stops at half its the sender! no question. gage is working.
