I know dom is better but out of my price range and I dont do rockcrawling so if I roll its going to be on something soft

I hate to sound like PBB on this but........  PIPE IS FOR CARRYING LIQUIDS AND GASES!!!  If you want to trust your life to pipe over tubing so be it.  You can do it both correctly and relatively cheaply by getting HREW tubing. (Hot Rolled Electrically Welded)  Its way cheaper than dom and is more than strong enough.  For a cage Id say no less than 1.5"x .120 wall.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

how about some wire hangers, just og to a dry cleaner, they've got tons, and it'll do the same thing as pipe :thumbs:

not sure what the d-o-m stands for but i believe it would be the extruded molten steel tube, no weld so it cant break at the weld,  kinda like cast pistons and forged pistons  ,,,, you get what you payfor,   personally my guy is working on my rollbar / headache rack / winch point,  from 2" x .250 HREW tube tied to the fram and my rocker rubes

ok, some body beat me to it,   

oh i went the .250 wall because i want to use it for a load winch support,  you know for putting heavy crap in the bed,  pulling motors at the junkyard, stuff like that
