Cantina for the Con Sept 4-5 2010

 Just wanted to drop you a all a line and let you know that the famous "Cantina for the 'Con" is about two weeks away and it is looking like it's going to be another great year for helping to save the Rubicon Trail. Be sure to get your tickets and support the cause no matter where you live.

The event is Labor Day Weekend in the spillway of the Rubicon Trail, Sept. 4 and 5, 2010. This is our awesome "taco feed" to support the work of Friends of the Rubicon and the Rubicon Trail Foundation.

The list of items are growing every single day, We have stuff from BFG, PitBull Tire, Ruff Stuff specialties, Marlin Crawler, Inchworm, Rock Equipment Racing, Trail Gear and many many more..

Here's a short list of items:
1 set of Pit Bull Tires

One of our newest Directors and co-chair Jeff Nilluka says this:

Quote6th annual Cantina for the Con is Labor Day weekend held at the Loon Lake spillway at the world famous Rubicon trail head. Come on out and enjoy a great taco feed , 16 vendors slated to be there with products on display, a 4 wheel drive ice cream truck ,an awesome raffle with great prizes, good people and good fun, and on top of the regular raffle Rubicon Trail Foundation will be raffling off a Jeep Cherokee.

We also have just a few tickets left for the Cherokee that will be given away on Sunday. This is the one that was built for the El Dorado County Sheriff by Jeepers Jamboree and has parts donated from J&W auto wreckers and Rubicon Express to nane a few.

16 vendors including Marlin!! The RTF booth will be there so if you have any Rubicon related questions, our Directors will be there to answer or just to listen!

One week left until Cantina, Can you taste the tacos?

The "put your name in the hat" list is growing daily, we have prizes from Ruff Stuff, Metal Cloak, Trail Gear, 4 wheel parts, Daves Off-road, High Angle Driveline, Pit Bull, BFG, Rubicon Express, some Cold hard cash(Thank you Tinbenders), Poison Spider and more..

Our anonymous donor has kicked in again, They will match dollar for dollar up to 2500 for online raffle sales, Its not to late to buy tickets and make the "MAN" pay up!

15 for $10
32 for $20
85 for $50
200 for $100

If you win, we will ship you the prizes so dont be afraid..

Thanks for the info! I have family coming in from Oklahoma this weekend - so I'm going to try to pull off the Cantina on Sat and family on Sun  :crossed: we'll see!

This was my first time out there, and i had a great time. Met a lot of good people and got to help out where I could.  Cruizilla and the other RTF officials did a great job.
I like to Drive!
