From what he said it was mostly dialed in and it drove/wheeled great. I've had about 50/50 people tell me not to bend the ph and the other telling me it's fine, i really don't want to bend it but i'm not sure it's gonna work out. I think going with a kit would have been quicker and easier from the start.

Sounds like a materials issue. Bending is ok so long as you have the strong enough tube.

Ok, going to work on the truck tommorow. If all goes well I should have the upper tacked up, and possibly the draglink done. Maybe even start on the ph :dunno:

Are right been working on the truck, got my brackets drilled out. I picked up an angle finder and it's a good thing I did cause I had the pinion angle at -7 almost :ack:. So the lowers are coming back off and I gotta cut the brackets off and re-do it. I also found out that I need to ream the stock tie rod holes out to 3/4" but all I have is a crappy dewalt drill and my drill press so i'm gonna have to figure something out. I'm thinking about getting the rear axle done tonight also, but I might just wait until the fronts done so I don't have to leave jack stands under the rear.

Pictures are for little kids books :gap: I came in for a second but i'm on my way back out to tack the upper and lowers on then check and see what we can do with the panhard, so i'll be back with pictures in a while.

Got the lowers re done, and the upper tacked, and took a look at the panhard. Opinions? Suggestions? Does my upper link need to be longer?

It's a custom bumper. It's just 3 simple pieces of sheet with speed holes punched in.

Got the rear of the truck done tonight :o, I got off work early and a few friends pulled through on me and we cranked it out. Now I just have to move the upper link over a little bit so it doesn't hit the frame, and make the panhard and draglink and i will have a roller.
the stock spring perches were on there..

and my favorite shot,

My pictures aren't the greatest, but I don't want to take the good camera into the garage.

If anyone is looking for an air tank I would be willing to let the one in the first picture go, it was made out of a scuba tank.

I plan on hammering this truck, but i'd rather start with fresh metal and see where it goes.

I have only one question, why does there always seem to be a Budlight can in your pictures?

:disturbed: If you actually look there is one in the front and one in the back, keeps the brake fluid from dripping on the floor. I probably don't need them anymore though.

I put the axle to full stuff, and I am pretty sure i'm gonna have to bend the panhard. I'm struggling on the draglink also. SO any suggestions on making the panhard fit?
