i paid 130 for a stock 86 4cly rear. that was a few years ago...possibly 2.

137 is reasonable. i wouln't pay more than 150 for one unless it was built or had goodies.

$250 seems to be a fair asking price around here (San Diego). I can find them cheaper online, but then there's shipping, or driving to retrieve them, and that costs more money. Ocassionally I find them at the Pic-n-pulls, but not very often.

MikeySBF

ive had many offers on mine, $200 seems about fair if you ask me

wishin4atoy

i would say 100 to 150 for a stock one.  200 sounds a little high to me

I paid $50 for one.  The 3rd member needs adjusted and the axle needs put back together.  Not bad for 50 bucks.

The shafts with backing plates go for 25 each, 4-cyl third members seem too be drawing about 70, housings are everywhere and almost free, so if it is complete drum to drum id say 150

My lord! I could make a fortune from you people! Junk yard here has at least 3 of them and I can buy them for 50 each. Was quoted a 150 dollars for a 89 22RE (not running, but I need the shortblock) and the W56 that goes with it. He'd probabally throw in the T-case for free too. As a matter of fact, The guy told my brother 300 for the complete interior and 4.0 engine (50K miles and running) from a mid 90's Cherokee...

I like it here in the corn capitol. Every 4x4 round here is nothing more than a lifted "MUDDIN" truck. These guys think that a Toyota is useless cause it didn't come factory with a V8. I just laugh when I have to pull someones truck out of the lame ass mud pit here. Then proceed to blast through it in reverse. So when you see one in a bone yard. It'll stay around for a while.
