a friend of mine just called to say his red 85 4wd was stolen least night between 3am and 10am today

has 31" bfg allterrains on 15 x 10" black crawler style wheels so the tires are kinda streached over the rims.
 it has been reported and hopefully it was just a joy ride.

no lift (kinda saggy in ta rear), 22r, extra cab, tan int. LICENCE PLATE # 7W60793
no rear bumper, has temp tag in the window,he also took the camper off.

  He got a call from Chico PD last night it was recovered from the rice bowl parking lot by a tow company!
HE GOT HIS TRUCK BACK TODAY!!  (after paying $160)

they stole all his clothes, his stereo, his laptop and some other one of a kind stuff that our friends will be looking for,
sounds like a tweeker joyride

Good to hear. It sucks I've had 3 stereos jacked, a lift out of the back of my truck, and a set of wheels stolen over the years. Glad to hear he got it back.

he had just got back into town late like 12:30, the truck was packed with stuff and I guess he was happy to..ahmm..see his lady, that he left the stuff for a few


I hear ya though, I have a full stereo system that I will not install in my 4runner till I build a steel locking center console, till then I rock a tape deck.
