91 Toyota 4runner, 3.0L, auto trans, SR5 package, 4x4, power windows
I am selling my 91 Toyota 4runner, priced for a quick sale. We are moving soon and need a deposit for a house. I had to choose between my 85 and 91 4runner. I hate to see it go but need the cash. This has been my daily driver for the past few months. I really had no intention of selling this as I have put a lot of money into it creating a good reliable daily driver. Someone will be getting a screaming deal!!  I have a ton of receipts from parts I replaced and receipts from the previous owner of work performed. We are located just outside of Coalinga, CA. Asking $2,900 OBO
Recently performed work within the last 5000 miles:
Head gaskets replaced
Heads surfaced
Valve job
Timing belt
Water pump
Radiator hoses and several misc cooling system hoses
Alternator
All timing belt pulleys
Oil cooler seals replaced
Throttle position sensor
Front brake pads
Rotors surfaced
Wheel bearings packed, new wheel bearing seals
2 new front tires, rear tires about 50% or less worn

Good:
AC works great
Engine runs great
Transmission was rebuilt at 244389 miles, cost $3477.00   I replaced the trans  fluid with Amsoil full synthetic fluid.
Current engine has about 80,000 miles. Previous owner had it replaced with a low mileage motor from Japan. Original motor was worn to the point it would no longer pass smog.
Interior in good shape, NO rips or tears
No issues on last SMOG test, passed with flying colors
Drives great

Not so good
Sunroof does not work
Small dent in drivers side pass door, see pic
Antenna sticks in the up position most of the time, no biggie
CD player inoperative, radio only
Speedometer needle slightly bounces, nothing major
Cruise control does not properly work

Forgot to add it has new plug wires, cap. rotor and fuel filter were changed at the same time as all the other parts. Injectors were serviced by Witchhunter.com also

Sounds like a fairly decent truck, you've done quite a bit of work to it; why are you selling?

We are moving and i need to come up with a good size deposit for the house we are moving into. Other than that i would be keeping it. Debated on selling my 85 but its all torn apart getting prepped for a paint job plus i would rather keep the 85.

I'm just getting into Toyotas and from what I've researched if you've got an 85' you don't let'em go
Yeah, if you can post up some under hood pics that'd be great.

I really like my 85, it has the straight axle, 22RE fuel injected engine and removable top although i don't think the top has ever been removed other than recently so i could paint the 4runner. I rebuilt the motor last year and have spent a lot of money on the 85 also.

Somehow the close up pic of the minor body damage was left out
