Did you outfit your truck with a outboard motor and pontoons ? Fordyce creek is running harder then even due to all the snow. I am not sure the 2nd crossing is even possible right now. Might want to look into another trail.  I was going to the con till I found out bout those bloody jeepers.  I decided to just go to high lakes and do some prime trout fishing.  Cant think of another place other then there atm.

I was headed up that weekend too! I heard from a birdy that they wont even let you through unless you signed up for there Jamboree.

46&2

My friend was up there two weeks ago and said the drifts were still too deep and hard packed to even get to Fordyce Lake from Cisco. He said he was able to make it to Fordyce Creek by taking the Cisco-Eagle lake bypass but the water was up over his hood. With the rapidly increasing hot weather I think it might be flowing way too hard still. Normally at this time of year, the rivers are much lower. Most rivers in Nevada County are still too dangerous to swim in.
