Ltb's suck plain and simple. Its a tire made in china  and the traction sucks.

I would not listen to him at all looks like the drives a ford. Ltb's are great tires and so are the sx's.

or a 4 stroke dirtbike :hahaha:

I vote LTB's though. IV seen them work awesome on the rocks and mild mud.

But I also really liked the TSL's I had...Either should be work great. LAst I checked LTB's were usually cheaper though

A Ford, a 4stroke that's funny. That's a 7.3 truck so I take reliability no matter who makes it. And 4 strokes suck that's why every pro is on one.
To the op, every one knows moab has the best traction in the country. A very built tj,linked, tons, whole shabang. Beadlocked on 40 ltbs he struggled all week and I have vids to prove it. Less then 10psi all the way around. Rock pile up on pritchette canyon, he tried for 20 min and never made it. Tsl in the group walked it. Another ledge on goldbar, never made it. Tsl walked it. Type in rocker knocker on you tube and watch how easy folks make that. He had to beat on it and I think the only reason he made it was because of the spare irok on the front. Here on the east coast, hammered down every trail he tried. The first tire I bought when I started was the 34ltb. Got a slab in a creek bed we go play around on, I never made it holding my 4.3 to the floor. All my buddies with all terrains and mud terrains were laughing at me cause they were driving circles around me.  But that's my experience and where I draw my conclusion.

I searched through my buddies build thread and counldnt find any Moab vids. I found some from wheeling here on the east coast but those didn't show any justice cause it raining and muddy in the vids. Ive had 34ltb,35bfg mt, 36 tsl, 37 pitbull rockers,38sx's. My favorite tires were my 36's and 38's. The bfg's done better than the ltb. Im not pushing one paticular tire because everyones rigs are diff. But Its just not a tire I ever plan on purchasing again. Keep doing your home work and if its a tire you think will work for your application good luck.

I can see a point there its a big debate right now between 3 tires, rockers, iroks and km2s, I've ran iroks and will stand by them and super swampers. I've also ran a few sets of bfg at's on beater trucks I've used for work and their ok but then again they are the midgrade tire of bfg like the ltbs are of superswamper.

So with that said who will compair bfg a/ts to ltbs? I'd say hands down the ltb would win say a 35x12.5. The bfg is a street designed tire advertising 50k for tread wear. I've never seen a off road tire that's lasted that long ecept for toyo mts my buddys got a set with around 39k on them and their holding out he never uses them off road though.
The swampers have more solid sidewalls bigger lugs, their not ment for rocks really more trail and to have a agressive tire just like the bfgs.

As far as the comparison its gone depend on terrain. Yeah in the straight mud ltb would win hands down. In a muddy mix of rock and mud I would pic the bfg. Because I know the ltb don't so I don't have anything to lose with the bfg. As far as getting miles out of an off-road tire a buddy got over 50k out of a set o km2's on his f250. Well the second set he only got 30k. So who knows.

Exactly!  You could take 5 different rigs, put the same tires on them, and likely get 3 or 4 different results due to rig setup and driver.  I always take that into account when somebody tells me they hate a tire, especially if they can't give me solid reason why.
