4runner softop

I have for sale a soft top for a 1984-1989 Toyota 4runner. The top is made by Killer Toy Tops. You can check them out at www.killertoytops.com I have had the top for about 2 years and it has worked well. I no longer need the top. I have everything that came with the top when purchased new. The only change was made to the rear window panel. It was a poor design to have it just velcro in. I had a custom canvas shop put zippers on 3 sides and rare earth magnets sewn into the bottom. This makes it 100 times easier and faster to install that part and the magnets just stick right to the back of the tail gate.

The top is made from sunbrella. http://www.sunbrella.com/ The sides slide right into a groove and can be removed in about a minute. This will make the top a bikini top for the complete back of the 4runner. The side windows are the 1/4 windows in smoke tint. If you have any questions about this top just let me know..   Asking $450 plus shipping.

That is a smokin deal! I paid $1100.00 for my complete top from KTT.. I got to know Shawn fairly well. (owner) hes a real good guy. if you need anything give him a call and I'm sure he'll help.
 We often talked about the back window design.... :)

OK, hate to do this but this guy has completyly FLAKED OUT on this sale.  He offered to ship it cod or me to send him a check and then when it cleared, ship me the top.  I told him to ship it cod to my shop and then emailed him a couple of days later to see if it had shipped and have not been able to reach him since.  He is on several Toyota based forums as in addition to this one.  I don't know if he is a crook or just sold it to someone else local and doesn't have the guts to just email me or PM me to that effect.  Anyway, if anyone knows otherwise about this guy, I would deal with him using a high degree of caution.

sorry to hear, i myself am slow on shippin stuff to ppl, but I stay in touch with them, and try to give updates. If he has a pbb acct, they have a bad seller thread, that has had some good luck with gettin ppl to pay up.

First off I emailed you several times to let you know the first person who asked about the top got back with me and wanted to buy the top...  Sorry you did not get them...  could have gone to your spam box..  I do not know.   I take offense for you calling me a crook.  For what you not getting my emails?? 

Sparkplug, I have done nothing wrong...  I did not take his money..  I am an honest person.  I have nothing to pay up for no money or property exchanged hands.  You should get all the facts.

Foonanas is correct to the point that he never received any $$ from me as stated in my post (shipping COD) and could have possibly tried to email me and somehow I didn't get the emails or PMs.   That is the reason that I waited a month to post up.  No harm no foul.  Wish you all the best.
