different gen clutch master and slave work together?
« on: Jul 11, 2010, 08:50:40 AM »
I am getting ready to swap a 3.4 r150(Tacoma) into my 92 pickup and had a r150 originally.

I want to use my existing clutch master since it obviously bolts up (not even sure....maybe the Taco one does as well) but I have to of course use the Tacoma slave on the tranny.

Anyone think there will be any issues on mixing these two together? Just trying to avoid surprises later.

thanks

they would need to have the same diameter and piston length for it to work. The master needs to be able to move the amount of fluid that the slave needs. Check the size of the two masters if they match then you shouldn't have any problems
