hey guys! just found out about the forums a few weeks ago and finally got some time to register. i've got a 89 pickup with a 22RE. gotta love the 4-cyl. overall runs fine. just gettin some major (and overdue) maintenance
work done to it, then lookin to get some extra goodies. before i jump the gun though, i need to figure out whats wrong with my transfer case now. the shifter just kinda stays in the middle but i know its only in 2wd cause the front axle spins freely. toyota dealer says its seized but a friend is tellin me that it feels to him like the shift forks are bent? and need to be replaced.
any pointers to help figure out what the exact problem is? im dying to get this thing off road and ready for the winter weather!
