TOYS 4 FUN Bald Mt run and trash pick up [Fresno CA]

This sat [MAY 22] TOYS 4 FUN is going up to do a trash pick up on the lowest section of the 4 lanes and then right after were going on a run up to bald mountain any one that would like to come is welcome we will be meeting at the park and ride at the bottom of the 4 lanes at 9:00 and then be heading up to bald right after we are done with the clean up.

Hey this is the President of Toys-4-fun. We're looking for new members to join us and help support keeping our trails open. If you are looking for a wheelin group, your welcome to attend our meetings scheduled every third Tuesday of the month, at Brooke's Ranch 99/Chestnut(meeting starts at 7:00pm). Come and join us for our 2 events this weekend, no need to be a member. The first is the trash pick-up at the bottom of the 4 lanes, then wheelin on Bald immediately after. See you Saturday!

Great to meet everyone yesterday, found some old friends and met some new ones. Next time i'll get there a little earlier and watch the video so I can help with the clean up.

After the clean up 4 rigs headed for the hills and up towards Bald Mountain-ish. Got there and a few flakes of snow fell. 15 minutes into the trail it started coming down. Now, i'm in a wide open rig (red truck) and was NOT expecting this. Borrowed a windbreaker from James and sucked it up. Had a blast, buried the truck in the snow once, little bump from the big FJ got it right out.

Can't wait to hang out with the group again. Might have to trailer the rig rather than drive it up though, noise from the trans is getting worse, I'm suspecting it's the famed G52 input going out. Anyone got a trans in their side yard?

Im pretty sure they stopped at the end of rock creek rd. I wasnt there tho lol.

   sorry man i started to reply yesterday but got busy... we started out going to The old mill then turned around when we couldn't go with out the pos of not coming back the same way, we then went down rock creek to the green gate saw the tracks and where they stopped and decided to just keep on rock creek and went as far as we could then stopped and turned around once we saw that it was snowing pretty good and we had no plans of making this a night adventure trying to get out on fresh snow

Everybody we talked to couldn't make it past the green gate. It has bad tree wells and side hills. Blues dad didn't have lockers and I had the kids so we didn't even try. There is some black top in areas that is in the sun but still a lot of snow. From deer camp just before the green gate to the second bridge on rock creek there is anywhere from 3 to 10 foot of snow. Plus it snowed all day on us and there is more to come. The trails trails will be opening late this year if the weather continue to be cool like this.
