Ahh come on man.  You know you want to do it.

BTW.  Where in Arkansas do you live.  My father-in law lives in Horseshoe Bend.

Little Rock. Right in the middle of the state. About 2 hours from Horseshoe Bend. Sounds like you have a good excuse to come visit and go wheeling in Hot Springs.  :wink2:

I'm not trying to start a problem, but Jim is a friend of mine and he invented it and builds the Lefty and now sells it to Marlin, so credit goes were credit is do. I was just correcting him. All you Marlin groupies take stuff way to personal and slander other company's products way too much. I'm just happy that all these companys exist so we all can have good parts for our toyotas. It defenitly looks better with Marlin's red rather than Inchworm baby blue. I almost paid the extra $50 to have my duals painted red instead of blue.

Not to get in a pissing match with you but what Marlin purchase's from Jim, and Jim is a good friend of Dave and Marlins, is the adapter plate to turn a right hand drop t-case into a left hand drop t-case and then puts all of "Marlins" internals into it. It is a Marlin Crawler lefty.  Even the front adapter plates are Marlins including the gears and the bearings.

No one slandered any of Jim's products in this thread.  In fact Marlins site gives Inchworm the credit for developing the "Lefty".  Jim is a great guy and has amany great products and many of us are happy he has come along.  I think that you my friend are the one who has over reacted here.  In this picture you can clearly see that the adapter plate has Inchworm on it as well as the front plate having Marlin's turtle on it.

It's an Inchworm lefty. Marlin crawler doesn't make a lefty Inchworm does and has it painted red and sells it to Marlin. By the way.

Jim doesn't paint it red for Marlin.  Marlin and his crew had it done themselves along with all the bolts for the one case for the photo shoots.  If you looked further into the thread link you would have seen that the case in this 4Runner is not even painted.

Look at your own posts moron.  You were the one jumping around flailing your arms claiming you were lied and wronged, then went and talked to your supposed friend and came back with attitude.  You just joined the site and are already stirring the pot like a feminine hygiene product... not the best way to get the right reputation  ;)

I did say some stupid stuff and I was mad about what was told to me about the product I purchased. The slander was in the(MASSIVE MARLIN CRAWLER PARTS COMPARISON!!!)thread. I don't know it all and I Don't spend my life on the computer studying every part from every company. How would you react if you just spent $2,500 on parts that people are telling you are weaker than stock. I talked to Jim for a couple of hours yesterday about all this. He read what was said about his company and explained a lot to me. I got worked up but I didn't start any name calling. Yes marlin's gears are in the product and his adapter Jim doesnt do any painting I already knew that I've been going to his shop for a while and never saw any painting. I know Dave- (from Daves off road) if that is the Dave your talking about, and I talked to him about it also. I don't know Marlin or his son Mike. I never go to Fresno. I'm not going to say everything  I was told except that he is a good buisness man and he buys and sells good products. Marlins products are more expensive because they are good products made from good material, such as he uses american steel in his products instead of chinnese steel. I'm not trying to choose sides. I got on this forum so I could learn more about the company, not for any points or reputation. Most of my posts were pretty much diaria of the mouth I'm ashamed to say and won't happen any more. I was trying to make any kind of post because I was told I had to keep making posts so I could put pictures up, and I couldn't think of much to say. I will admitt I messed up and was wrong about stuff. Don't be calling me names though unless you know me or would like to meet me!

AWSUMDC

The Dave I was talking of was Dave from Marlin Crawler.  He and Jim have a very good relationship and if you go back to your own post, oh you can't  since you deleted it, so go to mine where I quoted you and read for yourself your own words.  You DID say Jim painted them for Marlin and the sold them to Marlin.

Be very careful my friend on what you put in print.  It can come back to haunt you.

And as far as the massive Marlin Crawler comparison, those are facts my friend.  Very easy to duplicate by anyone.

Jim, Marlin, Big Mike, and Dave Carnahan from Marlin Crawler are all great people and have built up a good relationship between them all even after the comparison was written.  It's stuff like your earlier posts that you deleted that cause undo drama between companies.  Nine times out of ten it has nothing to do with the people who either own or work for the companies but the followers of said companies.

Thank you for deleting your posts!

the lefty above went into my truck. I just got the truck driving and I'll report back with my findings with the case after some miles and wheeling. I'm too wanting to see how the case holds up with the V8. Wyatt of Rocksolidtoys has been a huge help guiding me along and working with me and Marlincrawler. I'm anxious to finally get it out and wheel. Thanks Wyatt and Marlin!!

Thanks 4rfreak! I love my Marlin Crawler!! ...and thanks to Chris, Rocky, Nicholas and the rest of the crew at MC for helping me out upgrading my lefty to the new 30 spline input/output shafts and competition gear set! I really owe a big thanks to Wyatt Scott of RST for all his consulting through the build. We have more come with this truck so stay tuned :)

Savannah really sucks for wheeling but I got out at my little local play spot with my daughter for a while on Saturday, ...still way fun.

How is the lefty holding up with the V8? I would love to put one in my Tundra.
