my buddy has a T100 with a 3.4 and an auto. he put on a 3" body lift and extended the shift linkage. now when he shifts from park it goes strait to 2nd. anyone had this problem or a problem like it? how did you fix it?

sounds like the linkage needs a bit of adjusting

i had this same problem in my t100 i installed a 2" bl with out extending my linkage it would shift but it didnt engage correctly eventually this lead to my tranny loosing reverse then drive then 2nd then i 5 speed swapped it...um where did he extend his linkage at? id recomend either calling preformance accories and getting a linkage extension or relocating the shifter to the floor
