Topic: locating a leak 87 4runner its anti freeze

Hey guys. I started to notice a leak yesterday and went out this after noon to look around for a leak in my 87 4runner. It seems like it is coming around the thermostat or who knows.When it starts leaking it has to be warm and running temp.Some of the liquid leaks out over the EFI unit and is sprayed on top of it.Another thing is when you hold the the tube coming out of the radiator going into the over flow thing if I place my thumb over you can hear some of air bubble noise with the radiator cap on . Any suggestions on where to look ?

Go to an auto parts store, buy some coolant dye, clean off the areas where you think it's leaking, poor in the dye and run it in the dark while shining a black light in the area.

Kneed nice thought and thanks. But I think I've located well a better general area of where the leak is coming.I went out there this after noon after lunch and taking a break from NFL draft coverage ( football fan !) it looks like the drip is coming from above or a hose that is near the fuel filter to left underneath the EFI unit and under the thermostat . If any that is any more that be great ..

This is the hose to where I think its leaking from it or above or some where close by ..
