Where is Marlin and BigMike's build threads?
« on: Apr 09, 2010, 07:22:38 AM »
Four questions:

1) where is Marlin's build thread?

2) where is BigMike's first build thread (I have found the last two)

3) where is BigMike's dad's build thread?  I ask about all these build threads so I can see who's got a longbed and who has a shortbed and how they like it.

4) I have an 81 short bed.  Has anyone wheeled in Moab with a short bed?  Were you wishing you had the longer wheelbase?  I can't decide if I want to sell my truck for a longbed or if I the shortbed is going to be just fine for the things I want to do.  I wheel moab every couple months (in my tacoma), and i've gotten used to the long wheelbase.  I just want to make sure I can still do the steep stuff there with the short wheelbase.  I ask about

Thanks MiniSimp.  Anyone know about BigMike's dad's rig?  is it a short wheelbase or long wheelbase?

Marlin's is a long wheel base but has been bobbed in the rear. As to an actual build thread I don't think there is one but there are a few upgrade threads that have been done.
