good thing you got a spare head. ill straight edge it for you tomorrow and lap the valves for you. she should be up and running soon
Next on the list is to get the front suspension done while the motor is out. But I have read that getting the front shackles mounted is a biotch. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
i SAS'd an '86 2wd and ended up using some jigs i got from marlin and cutting with the torch. the holes were a bit wonky, but i tacked and measured to make sure they were straight. right after i welded them i seen someone holesaw 4 frame plates, weld the plates to the frame (over the torch cut holes), and then weld the tubes to the plate. it looked much better, and was probably stronger than the gap filling a ultimately had to do.
I'll watch, Im digin the flower box man...
So why you goin to a truck now instead of the runner?
what kinda suspension are you going with on this 2wd??
I'm running allpro 5in fronts and 63's in the rear. Just until I can link it.
