SOLD 05/11/2010

Asking $75 $125 , $175 for all four springs and shocks.  Located in San Francisco.  These are for pick up only.

Here are some pics.  The springs and matching shocks came off a 1980 Hilux.  Downey supposedly used the same spring manufacturer that Toyota did.  I already prepped the springs with brand new bushings where needed, which I got from Marlin Crawler.  One of the rear springs has one of its old bushings and its sleeve stuck in it.  I didn't drill or press it out, but it will accept a shackle bolt.  The other rear spring has the large style bushing, which is new.

The springs look fine, but I bought them used, and have no info about previous use besides the fact I removed them from the 1st Gen below.  Sold as is of course.

how much for just the rears? let me know becuase I may be coming down to fairfeild early this week.
I might be interested in both... dont know for sure though
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

These are stock lengths; they bolt right up.  Never wheeled Downey's, but I heard they flexed well.

Still got 'em!

I do not know how old they are, but I've had them stored for about 1.5 years.  IIRC, the PO said that the springs were not used much, but instead, they just sat for several years under the 1st Gen., which you can see was parted out in previously posted pics.  I should have gotten a better understanding of their history.  They seem fine though, and you will get a very good look on Thursday if we meet up.  Glad that you will be in the mission district on Thursday, too--I have them stored right there at my friend's garage.  I will PM you my contact info.
