better be a good drive who has done the trail many times, even then it would be hard on 31s or less & get mild to very bad body damage.
33s & some liftgo a long ways
my 1st 4 trips were 82 longbed no lockers, gears or t-case gears
it did great, I however did not know how to drive 1st trip & did  some damage.
2nd trip no problem, amazing how much you can slip the stock toy clutch, I ran the stocker for 4 years, 33s to 38's & who knows how old it was when I got it.
don't be afraid to slip the clutch, or throttle a bit over things, just don't get stupid :driving: :driving:

You were at TTC? I've always wanted to go to that, Hollister is less than half an hour away from my house. Got any pics of your truck at TTC?

More worried about the 600 mile back home on a DD, haha.

Speaking of which, my wing man trailers his buggy. Safe parking for a truck n' trailer before the trail?

i went 2 years ago and had no problems with anything be messed with... you gotta show up early to get a spot and make sure you park so no one will block you in haha

crazykooter

Its safe parking for your truck and trailer for the most part.  The main thing that gets ripped off is the trailers.  Just be smart and have it locked to your truck.  A guy lost his brand new trailer a few years ago and for the most part it was his fault.  He had it hooked to his F250 diesel but forgot to put a lock in the receiver.  So they just crawled under his truck and put it neutral. Then rolled his truck from the trailer.  For some reason they couldnt move the trailer off the receiver so I guess it was just easier and faster to move the truck. Anyhow if its all locked up then your fine.

BigMike,

I just got registered as #68 coming from Colorado.  On my registration I only signed up for 1 person to attend as my wife's vacation request wasn't approved yet.  She got approval now so I need to add 1 dinner ticket and 1 XL t-shirt to my registration.  Since you already have my VISA number can you just add those on to it?

I've heard we have been getting a lot faxed in too :hyper:

I am glad I am trying to push the Grand Prize Ticket deadline which expires in about 12 hours  because I remember last year a lot of people asked me over and over why they didn't get a Grand Prize Ticket

Gee thanks Mike for fixing my post LOL.    We all know your rig a marlin jr.

only 100 people this yr.....bummer Guess im not the only one feeling the crunch money wise.

Hey and Derral you suck since your gonna come in thru caddy this year.  What is up with that ?

BigMike

The count for sure looks to be over 100, possibly around 110. But remember, this is just the count of participants who will be able to partake in the Grand Prize Raffle. We always have another 30 or 40 rigs register between this cutoff date and the event (makes it extremely difficult to estimate the number of meals and t-shirts to order), and then at the event we always have another 30+ rigs show up and register on the spot. We typically cap the number of registered rigs to 150 but its not uncommon for there to be over 200 rigs at the Springs Campground Sat. night  :turtle:
