« on: Mar 09, 2010, 01:46:10 PM »
thats what she said.

but seriously i went in a puddle and it was deeper than i thought and now my carpet is wet.
also i cant just open it up and let it dry because its not exactly warm out. its cloudy and about 50 degrees.

Use a chamois (shammy) to soak up as much water as possible then run a fan on it

Yeah, unfortunately, unless you actually wash it and dry it properly, it'll always smell like mildewy funk.

Just throw some more water in there..

It will be like being at home for you!  :haha:

Or.. just throw a bunch of taco bell wrappers on the ground, and then it will be like home for your brother..  and who knows.. maybe the wrappers will absorb the water!

Pull it out and let it dry in your garage, or room, or whatever. My $.02

That's actually a good idea if it was a soft drink..........

You're never going to get all the soft drink, so dilute it, dry, dilute, dry,........

Just take it out and leave it out!!  Like mine.  When the floor gets wet, or dirty, I pull the drain plug and hose down the floor right out the drain hole.

Check out this vynil flooring. I bought one of these MOLDED Vynil floors its awesome! Nice thick vinyl comes in a box in the mail. You open it in yer house let it warm up and BAM! looks like the bottom of your truck! then just cut to fit.

Its a lil dirty right now but it cleans up nice with a scrub brush.
It also comes with a sound deadening mat to put under it but id say its just there to get wet and stinky so i didnt install it.
